The 10-day Annual Training Camp (ATC) conducted by 5 Telangana NCC Battalion, Hyderabad Group, under the aegis of NCC Directorate (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) at Bison Training Ground, Secunderabad, concluded on Wednesday.
camp’s objective is to prepare 475 cadets of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in all aspects of military training, including weapon training.
The cadets were witness to a series of demonstrations by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), local fire brigade, and education on snakes by Friends of Snakes Society.
Motivational and career guidance talks were given by prominent personalities. Planting of fruit bearing trees, band display by cadets, colourful cultural programmes, prize distribution and ‘Bara Khana’ marked the concluding ceremony, a press release said.
