How about a day on the harbour for your husband and pals - with rivers of free wine and champagne to boot?

That dream was just another day in the life for media personality and racing heiress Kate Waterhouse on Wednesday.

Kate took to Sydney Harbour for a belated 35th birthday boat cruise with her husband Luke Ricketson, 43, and a group of friends - all sponsored by US wine brand Sterling Vineyards.

Kate looked her usual stylish self in a cream-coloured wool skirt with detached sleeves and a pair of black cat-eye sunglasses.

With her long blonde locks billowing in the sea breeze, she could have easily passed for a 1950s movie star.
