The Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund has collected more than ₹100 crore towards relief for Gaja Cyclone.
A release from the Chief Minister’s office stated that several State government departments and private institutions had been chipping in funds, including ₹13 crore collected from the employees of the eight State Transport Corporations, the ₹1.50 crore from L&T, the ₹1 crore donated by Apollo Hospitals and the nearly ₹75 lakh from the Supreme Court Bar Association.
In total, an amount of ₹108 crore has been collected towards Gaja relief.
