Jipmer has opened a waiting shelter for outpatients and attendants. The shelter, located opposite the Women and Children Hospital, has been readied with support from Gothi Charitable Trust, Rotary Club of Pondicherry Mid Town and Rotary Club of Pondicherry Beach Town. Jipmer director Dr. R.P. Swaminathan formally opened the facility.
Parasmal, Sanjay Gothi, of Gothi Charitable Trust and S Piraiyon, Rotarian, were among the participants.
