Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar has given his verdict on Jose Mourinho’s sacking and believes Manchester United will be a different prospect in the Champions League last 16 with new boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in charge.

Mourinho left the club on Tuesday morning with United 19 points off leaders Liverpool in the Premier League after just 17 games.

Solskjaer was confirmed as Mourinho’s replacement 24 hours later, with the Norwegian taking on a caretaker role until the end of the season before a longer-term appointment is made in the summer.

Club legend Solskjaer is adored by United fans, in particular, for his decisive contribution to the club’s 1999 Champions League win and he will manage them in the competition this February.

United were drawn to face French champions PSG in the last 16 and Neymar believes the Reds will be all together tougher proposition caretaker boss Solskjaer report the MEN.

“We know the quality that Manchester United have and we know that their players have a winning mentality,” Neymar said.
