More than 50 charges have been laid by police following searches on Rebels gang members' properties.

Officers raided premises in the south-west of WA this week, uncovering more than $174,000 in cash as well as meth and MDMA, cannabis, firearms and high-value jewellery.

Among the 16 people charged in relation to the operation is the Rebels motorbike gang president, nominees and associates.
