Turnover spurts
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment was Rs 18.22 lakh crore compared with Rs 8.34 lakh crore reported in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index fell 15.60 points or 0.14% to settle at 10,951.70
State Bank of India, Reliance Industries and HDFC were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.
State Bank of India December 2018 futures traded at 294.55, compared with spot closing price of 294. Reliance Industries December 2018 futures traded at 1132.50, compared with spot closing price of 1129.90. HDFC December 2018 futures traded at 1,984, compared with spot closing price of 1977
The December 2018 F&O contracts expire on 27 December 2018.
