Congmen chant 'Pak zindabad' at rallies: BJP
TNN | Dec 20, 2018, 05:45 ISTINDORE: BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya on Wednesday said that Congress workers chant 'Pakistan zindabad' at victory rallies. An outraged Congress demanded that Vijavargiya prove his charge or apologise.
"When Congress wins and takes out victory mar-ches, slogans of 'Pakistan zindabad' are raised but its workers don't protest. We have seen many wins and defeats but when we take out a victory march, if anybody raise such slogans, we will bury him alive," Vijayvargiya said here on Wednesday. He was addressing BJP workers at a protest against Congress and its comments on the Rafale deal .
"BJP will not tolerate politics for the sake of votes or those that support people who raise anti-national slogans like ' Bharat tere tukde honge (India will break into pieces)'. Rahul Gandhi went to meet them. If it was in the power of BJP workers, we'd have pulled out their tongues," the BJP national general secretary sai d. "Why is it that Pakistan PM Imran Khan said relations between India and Pakistan can improve only when Congress forms government? Congress speaks Pakistan's tongue and questions the Rafale deal," he said.
Congress reacted strongly. "Vijayvargiya's statement is irresponsible. He must present proof of his statement or apologise publicly," Congress state spokesperson Nilabh Shukla said.
