Vegans are in luck this Christmas.
Australia-wide supermarket Woolworths now offers a 'plant based loaf' as an alternative to ham or turkey.
Retailing for $8, the soy-based product is packed with breadcrumbs, sweet cranberries, green lentils, herbs and spices.

And while most customers are keen to try the new offering, others are not convinced, commenting on Facebook that it's not up their street.
'Looks extremely unappealing,' one person posted.
Woolworths, who began stocking the loaf on December 17, took to Facebook this week to reveal the new product.
The retail giant shared a photo of the cooked loaf, sliced up on a white plate, and served with a side of roast vegetables.
'Tap to reveal #VeganChristmas goals,' Woolworths shared on the social platform.

Most Facebook users commented with the likes of 'wonderful news' and 'Christmas lunch sorted'.
While another praised Woolworths for adapting to 'changing times' in society.
However not all were convinced, with select customers sharing their distaste on the unappealing nature of both the name and how it's presented in a tin foil container.

'Could you come up with a more unappealing name?' wrote one, while another shared that it 'looks extremely unappetising'.
Another simply stated 'no thanks' while another sat on the fence, suggesting that it 'would either be really good or really bad'.
Customer research conducted by Woolworths revealed that while interest for vegan products has increased by double digits, ham still reigns supreme.
Last year's figures revealed that 71 per cent of customers chose to serve ham on the Christmas table.
