Jalandhar, December 19, 2018: A free health checkup camp was organised at CT Public School in which a team of doctors and technicians namely Dr.Deepak Modi (chest specialist, MD,DN, FCCP, Gulab Devi Hospital),Dr Pooja Sharma(MD, Gynecologist, Gulab Devi Hospital),Dr Harmohit Hallan, MDS, dentist) Dr.Anurag Julka (MD, eyes ,AIIMS) and Dr.Shifali (Skin specialist),conducted the tests and prescribed the medicines for the same.
The camp was organised in collaboration with Nishkaam, an NGO.
All students of classes 8 to 12 and supporting staff of the school availed the services provided by the qualified experts who recommended appropriate precautions and interventions.
Kiran Nagpal, Vice President of Nishkaam, Supreet Kalsi, General Secretary and other members of the NGO applauded this successful initiative.
Vice Principal Sukhdeep Kaur also appreciated the selfless service put forth by the doctors. She said, “CTPS organizes such camps on regular basis in order to provide proper guidance to the budding youth and others and it was a prime example of how the community can be served appropriately if we are interested to do so.”
