'Hazardous situation' unfolding south-east of Perth
Emergency crews have been called to a major structure fire in Perth's south-east, with a "hazardous situation" unfolding.
There have been reports of multiple explosions as a result of a large cold storage shed fire in Karragullen.
The shed is understood to be part of a local business premises, with all staff accounted for.
Multiple fire appliances are attending and police have been called to the area, as well as a pollution response team.
A control point has been set up on Canning Road, with people warned to avoid the area due to large amounts of smoke and emergency vehicles.
There is no direct threat to life, homes or the community, but residents are advised to switch off air conditioners and keep doors and windows closed.
