International Tourism and Investment Conference (ITIC) announces its 2019 conference in London

ITIC 2019 is an initiative of Daiichi Display Ltd., conceived and headed by its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ibrahim Ayoub. The conference aims to tackle key global tourism issues via its concept Think Tourism 360 and Investourism, which is its investment tourism platform. The 2019 conference will focus primarily on investment through tourism in Africa and island economies covering the Caribbean, Indian Ocean, Mediterranean, Pacific Ocean and all other islands nations worldwide.

ITIC was successfully launched on 2nd November 2018 at the InterContinental Park Lane, London. The conference was held in the presence of Her Excellency Mrs. Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, the President of Malta and under the leadership of Dr. Taleb Rifai, the Chairman of ITIC Advisory Board and former Secretary General of the UNWTO.

After the successful launch event, ITIC 2019 will comprise a high-level panel discussion on Invest Tourism, with renowned international leaders in Tourism and Investment taking part. Speakers at the conference will have Hon. Najib Balala EGH, Cabinet Secretary and Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife for Kenya; Hon. Edmund Bartlett CD, MP, Minister of Tourism for Jamaica and Hon. Derek Hanekom, MP, Minister of Tourism for South Africa.

ITIC 2019 will be attended by approximately 500 delegates: tourism project owners and promoters with live and bankable projects, tourism experts, investors, funding agencies, private equity firms, technology experts and journalists who will discuss major issues related to tourism and investment. A special emphasis will be given on tourism investment in Africa and island destinations.

We aim at bridging investments and innovation in tourism projects in Africa and Island nations with a view to promoting inclusive growth and sustainable economic growth.”
