Karl Stefanovic and his wife Jasmine Yarbrough's honeymoon was rudely interrupted on Wednesday with news the Channel Nine star had been fired from the Today show.
And it seems Jasmine's day had already taken a turn for the worse, as she found herself stuck on a mountain in Aspen, Colorado just hours before the announcement.
Jasmine's friend Bo Janicic posted a video to Instagram showing the Mara & Mine designer and two other skiers slumped in the snow and unable to move.

The footage was shared to Instagram on Wednesday afternoon (Sydney time), just hours before Channel Nine formally acknowledged Karl was leaving the Today show.
In the video, Bo mouthed the word 'Jazzy!' before panning the camera to show her friend on the mountainside apparently stuck in the show.
Other skiers appeared to be trying to help her back onto her feet after she fell over.

Meanwhile, Karl was reportedly 'blindsided' by Channel Nine's decision to axe him from the Today show this week.
Before the 44-year-old flew overseas to marry Jasmine, 34, earlier this month, he had apparently been reassured by bosses that his job would be safe.
'Karl had no idea - he left for Mexico thinking he would still be on Today,' a Nine insider told the Herald Sun on Thursday.

'They told him face to face. They looked him in the eye. But the writing was on the wall,' the source added.
Jasmine and Karl's four-day wedding extravaganza was apparently the ammunition the network needed to finally pull the trigger on the embattled breakfast TV star.
'The Karl situation was a pressure-cooker and we needed to release the valve,' a senior Nine source told the publication.
It is believed the newlyweds are still on honeymoon in Aspen. They are expected to continue their holiday in Port Douglas after returning to Australia.
