Turnover rises
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment was reported at Rs 6.95 lakh crore compared with Rs 5.24 lakh crore reported in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 20.35 points or 0.19% to settle at 10,908.70
Reliance Industries, ICICI Bank and Stae Bank of India were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.
Reliance Industries December 2018 futures traded at 1,142.40, compared with spot closing price of 1137.75. ICICI Bank December 2018 futures traded at 362.50, matching its spot closing price of 362.50. State Bank of India December 2018 futures traded at 294.30, compared with spot closing price of 293.90.
The December 2018 F&O contracts expire on 27 December 2018.
