One-man crime wave: 'High-risk domestic violence offender', 28, faces dozens of sexual assault, kidnapping and assault charges against four women known to him

An alleged high-risk domestic offender has been charged over dozens of rapes, kidnappings and assaults against multiple women.
Aron Goodrem, 28, from Sydney has been charged with 54 domestic violence-related offences.
He allegedly committed the acts of abuse against four women known to him in Sydney's west over a period of eight years between 2009 and 2017.

Goodrem will appear before Central Local Court in Sydney on Tuesday. He was refused bail.
Police will allege the man was a high-risk domestic violence offender who beat, choked and sexually assaulted his victims multiple times.
Among the domestic violence-related offences the 28-year-old has been charged with include 10 counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, 19 counts of common assault and one count of dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.

Goodrem has also been charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault and eight counts of sexual intercourse without consent.
He was arrested and charged at Gosford Police Station following investigations by the State Crime Command’s Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad.
Investigations began in June 2018, following reports four women had been sexually assaulted and held against their will over a period of time by a man known to them.
