
Saina Nehwal biopic: Director Amol Gupte unhappy with Shraddha Kapoor?
Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor who was last seen in the horror comedy Stree is all set to wow the audience in Saina Nehwal biopic.There has been much delay and work is rather slow on the project. According to sources, directorAmol Gupte is upset with Shraddha over the second-hand treatment of Saina Nehwal biopic. The issue is with Shraddha’s dates as she is juggling between Chhichhore, which stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Saina Nehwal biopic. As a result, Amol is unhappy with how Shraddha is treating the movie and it was announced way before the other project.
There were reports of her not being able to cope up with the training. In a group interview, Shraddha wad asked about the much delay in the project. On this, she said, "Yes, it was tough and I wanted to take time for training. Well, if you are playing the role of a real-life hero, you need to make sure that you're convincing and the audience relates to it. It's not easy and I want to ace the game. I wanted to go ahead when I am totally prepared for it."
Shraddha said she was really honoured to essay the role of the Indian badminton star in the film. Shraddha took to her Twitter handle to express her happiness. "Saina Nehwal -- The former World number one badminton player. An Indian girl. An inspiration to millions. A youth icon in the truest sense," Shraddha had tweeted.

It may be recalled that the film’s shoot has been delayed many times. However, the Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series- produced film finally went on floors on September 22, 2018. Speaking about it, Shraddha had said: “We are making lots of preparations for this film and we are doing it for a long time.”
Saina Nehwal’s 2012 Olympic bronze medal is one of the most defining moments in Indian sporting history. She won the badminton singles Commonwealth Gold for India in 2010, and then again in 2018, helped clinch the team gold in badminton for India.
