Bulls first to qualify for playoffs

Panchkula:  Bengaluru Bulls scored an easy 44-28 win over Telugu Titans to become the first team to qualify for the playoffs from Zone ‘B’ of Pro Kabaddi League Season 6 here on Tuesday.

In what was the final southern derby of the season,   Bengaluru Bulls took on Telugu Titans for the final time this season.  Bengaluru seemed to be the favourite going into the game as they have won twice against the Titans this season.

Bengaluru opened their account for the night when Amit Sheoran’s scored a good tackle when his firm back hold on Rahul Chaudhari yielded the desired result.

The fifth minute witnessed a super tackle for the Titans when Mohsen Maghsoudlou dived on Pawan Kumar and it was then that Nilesh Salunke chipped in for support and kept Pawan Kumar from the mid-line as the scored read 11-5 with the Bulls leading.

Bengaluru Bulls scored their second all out as they raced ahead with the score reading 25-17. With around 16 minutes to go for the second half to end, the determination of the Bulls seemed clear as they led with the score reading 29-17.

In the end, Bengaluru walked away with the win becoming first qualifier.
