RIO DE JANEIRO: Brazil's National Council for Energy Policy (CNPE) said on Monday that it had approved a sixth-round auction for the country's pre-salt offshore oil area for 2019, adding two new blocks: Southwest Sagittarius and Brava North.A person familiar with the matter told Reuters earlier on Monday that CNPE had approved the auction, as well as a 16th round of bidding for oil under its concession regime, which the council also said it approved.
