The Bankmen’s Film Festival will be held on December 18 (Tuesday) and 19 at Town Hall and Sports Council Hall in the city incorporating contemporary movies, short films and documentaries that emerged winners at the Signs Film Festival.
The festival, which will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.on both days, will screen feature films Cinemawala (Bangla), Thithi (Kannada), and White Dog (Hungarian), besides short films / documentaries including SD: Saroj Dutta and His Times (Bangla), Jyoti Aru Joymoti (Assamese), In Thunder, Lightning and Rain (Malayalam), Bloody Phanek (Manipuri), Memoirs of Saira and Salim (Hindi), Ekaant (Hindi), Bhoomi (Malayalam), and Oru Chayakkadakkarante Mann ki Baat (Malayalam).
The festival is organised by Bankmen’s Club and Bankmen’s Film Society with the support of the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy and Film Society Federation, a press release said.
