Women tourists found dead in Morocco

Two Scandinavian women backpackers have been found dead in with cuts to their necks, an interior ministry statement said.

One of the women was named as Maren Ueland, 28, from Danish officials have not yet confirmed the identity of the second woman.

The pair were studying at the University of South-Eastern and had gone backpacking for their holiday on December 9.

Ueland's mother had shared a picture on of her daughter with the simple message: "Our Maren".
