'Shove your anger up your a**e': India implodes as star paceman confronts teammate in furious exchange as Australia wins test to square series

  • Indian quick Ishant Sharma sledged Indian substitute fielder Ravi Jadeja in Perth
  • Speaking in Hindi, a frustrated Sharma told Jadeja where to 'shove' his anger
  • Incident was on day four of Test, with tourists outplayed by a fired up Australia

India's leading fast bowler delivered a brutal sledge at his own teammate as the pressure mounts on the tourists after losing the second Test against Australia by 146 runs in Perth on Tuesday.

Ishant Sharma, who towers over Ravi Jadeja, raged at one another in their native Hindi on day four of play in Perth.

Sharma eventually told his pint-sized teammate that he 'would take his anger and shove it up his arse.'

The incident unfolded when Sharma initially said to Jadeja: 'Don't wave your hand at me. If you want something, come to me and say it.'

Jadeja responded by saying 'Why are you saying so much?

Sharma then delivered his cutting remark before adding that Jadeja 'shouldn't talk bullshit.'

Speaking in commentary on Channel 7, former Australian skipper Ricky Ponting felt it was the obvious the pair were frustrated at one another.

'It does seem pretty animated. There was lots of finger pointing. They were separated on a couple of occasions,' he said.

'Things have obviously got a little bit heated between these two.

'The tension isn't just between Australia and India, there also looks like a little bit of in-fighting between the Indians.'

With the series now squared at 1-1, the third Test begins in Melbourne on Boxing Day.
