A self-proclaimed 'peaceful activist' in a relationship with the model ex-girlfriend of a slain bikie claims police kidnapped him after he refused to give them his phone passcode.

Police charged Brenden John Casey with contravening an order about information necessary to access information stored electronically and possessing property suspected of having been used in the commission of a drug offence.

In Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Monday his model girlfriend Karlee Ironside supported him from the public gallery as he plead not guilty to the charges, according to the Sunshine Coast Daily.

Ms Ironside is the ex-girlfriend of Bandidos associate Max Waller, who was slain in a stabbing on the Gold Coast in 2013.

A friend of Mr Casey posted to Facebook after his arrest that he was 'kidnapped' and 'unlawfully imprisoned' by 'corrupt' police.

A video that Mr Casey posted online eight days before he was arrested and that has been viewed 48,000 times shows two police officers looking for a man name Gabriel at a property.

He denies he knows the man and tells the camera that the officers have 'sworn an oath to a foreign dictator.'

Mr Casey was granted bail on November 2 and his hearing date will be set on February 7.
