Two held after gunfight
TNN | Dec 17, 2018, 07:30 ISTNoida: Two persons were arrested from Sector 16 A early Sunday morning following a gunfight between them and police.
The two have been identified as Ajit Singh and Mulkit Singh, both belonging from Delhi. While Ajit is an accused in several robbery cases, Mulkit is a shooter. Ajit also carried a reward of Rs 25,000 on his arrest.
Manoj Kumar Pant, SHO of Sector 20 police station said that around 2am, a police team was patrolling at Sector 16 A when they tried to stop their motorcycle. “They fired at the police team and tried to flee towards DND. When the cops retaliated, two bullets hit the leg of both the accused and they were arrested,” he said.
