Fans have lashed out at Megan Marx, 29, and Jake Ellis, 31, accusing the couple of 'mocking' Matty Johnson and Laura Byrne's baby announcement over the weekend.
Matty and Laura announced they were expecting their first child on Saturday, with Laura revealing she previously had a miscarriage at seven weeks earlier this year, in a report by The Daily Telegraph.
Appearing to try and steal the limelight, Megan took to Instagram hours later with her Jake's own crass version of what they were 'expecting' after lunch.

'I am proud to announce that Jake and I will be expecting to deliver two very big s**ts this afternoon after an amazing Saturday morning breakfast,' Megan wrote.

She jokingly added: 'We will be updating our fans along the way! Thank you for all your support.'
Despite not having 'liked' Matty J or Laura's baby announcement on social media at the time, Megan said she 'loved' all of the baby and marriage news.

A number of fans saw the eyebrow-raising post as distasteful and even a little disrespectful, with some taking to the comments section to criticise the couple.
'Get a life,' one fan wrote, while another added: 'Sad post. Also seems like you're mocking another couple's genuine baby news??!!'

One fan appeared to believe it was the couple 'frustrated' at Matty J and Laura stealing the limelight from them.
'She's a bit hurt that the other girls are having babies and getting married unlike her. Funny way of letting out your frustration,' the fan posted.

The reality stars expressed their excitement at becoming parents, writing: 'Happy doesn't even come close.'
'We're having a baby! Old mate @matthewdavidjohnson and I are beyond excited to finally be able to share that I'm cooking an orange sized baby Johnson-Byrne.'
Equally excited, Matty J wrote: 'I'm so bad at keeping secrets so I'm EXTREMELY excited to let everyone know, we are having a little baby!'

Later, Matty J shared the first official bump shot of Laura while the pair were enjoying a sun-soaked beach day on Sunday.
Pregnancy speculation began in November when Laura was pictured at a Sydney fashion event sporting a small bump.
