How would you define fitness?
I am filled with energy and zest to take forward an entire day when I go for an early morning run or jog! I would define that as fitness, when I don’t give exercising a second thought and just make it a regular part of my lifestyle.

Will you call yourself a health freak or it’s more about being fit?
For me it’s more about being fit. When I am fit and in good shape, good health automatically falls into place.

Is your health regime a balance between healthy food and workout?
Yes, my health regime is a balance of healthy food and a good workout. This is how it should be for everyone, a balance of healthy nutritious food which in turn helps and energises us to a full-fledged workout to keep our bodies in good shape and good health.

What’s your daily workout routine like?
I make sure to focus on working out on one particular body part a day, with some cardio as well.

While shooting, how do you strike a balance between shooting and workout?
Even when shooting, I make sure to hit the gym or indulge in a good run before I head to my shoot early morning. This is something I have regularly incorporated into my daily schedule, as some sort of exercise for me is a must.

Rapid fire with Saurabh:
The body part I like working out?
My chest, as that is one body part which is yet to be accomplished.

The body part I hate working out on?
My legs at times.

My best body feature?
My legs!

Common mistake that health conscious people do?
I feel that at times people tend to be their own doctor and trainer while working out. They should actually be taking proper guidance for certain workout forms to avoid injuries mainly.

My daily diet?
My breakfast is 4 boiled eggs with some steamed vegetables.
Lunch is one nachni roti or some brown rice with a vegetable gravy, yellow dal, 4 boiled eggs again and a salad.

I tend to usually snack on fox nuts, fresh fruit juice and an omelette in the evenings. My dinner again is boiled eggs, soup and vegetables.

The best body in Bollywood?
Akshay Kumar. He has a naturally crafted body.
