For €13,964 ($15,843) in Germany, without fitting and painting, JE Design can transform your Seat Ateca SUV into something that’s much more capable off road than the standard model.

As previewed by this one-off model, created in cooperation between a Luxembourg-based Seat dealer and JE Design, the compact crossover looks pretty much off-road ready.

It still doesn’t have a low-range gearbox or other amenities necessary to help it tackle arduous terrains, but it does get a few interesting upgrades. Among them we find the front and rear wheel arch extensions with visible bolts, which add 35 mm (1.38 in) to each side, for €2,142 ($2,430).

Front and rear skid plates in matte silver, priced at €650 ($737) and €590 ($669) respectively, rear spoiler (€417/$473), rear window side wings (€179/$203) and an LED light bar (€1,190/$1,350) complete the look. There are also new 16-inch rims shod in 215/65 all-terrain tires available for €1,890 ($2,144), with 40 mm spacers and longer wheel bolts, as well as a static ride height increase of 20 mm (0.8 in) that costs €158 ($179).

Protecting the wheel arches and roof panels from scuff damage is a paint normally used on the loading areas of pickup trucks, while offering peace of mind when loading shopping items into the boot is a matte silver protection strip that protects the top edge of the rear bumper (€99/$112). At the same time, the rest of this Ateca is wrapped in matte Khaki, for which the tuner is asking €3,000 ($3,404).

Rounding up the list of aftermarket parts is the stainless steel rear silencer (€899/$1,020), with two round tailpipes on each side, 80 mm (3.15 in) in diameter.

JE Design says the ‘All Terrain’ conversion can be applied on all Ateca models except for the FR and Cupra versions. However, the latter two can get the wheel arch extensions, roof panel with LED light bar and underbody protection parts individually and, for the FR 2.0-liter TDI 4Drive, a sports exhaust.
