A war veteran is extremely heartbroken after his bullet-riddled Australian flag he took to serve in Vietnam is stolen by despicable thieves.
'Who ever stole my Australian flag please consider returning it. I have had it since south Vietnam 1965. Reward offered (it has 2 bullet holes in it),' the poster read.
The veteran is based in a Hawthorne residence in Brisbane, and has had his saddening post shared on the Meanwhile in Australia Facebook page.

Social media users expressed their disgust at the 'un-Australian' act requesting the thief return the flag.
'How f*cking unAustralian .... dog act..,' one wrote.
'That is f*ckin the c*ntiest thing anyone can do to a veteran so sorry for this to happen to you sir much respect and thank you for what you did for Australia,' another wrote.
'Do the right thing & return this man's flag to him, he fought in Vietnam for heaven's sakes. Send it back in the mail, you know the address obviously as you stole it,' another pleaded.
