What If Bugatti Built A Hypercar Even Crazier Than The Divo?

When it comes to refined and sophisticated hypercars, no one does it better than Bugatti. Not only are the French marque’s products blisteringly fast but they also offer similar levels of comfort and poise to dedicated luxury cars.

However, with the launch of the Divo a few months ago, Bugatti took a leap into a slightly more hardcore and focused segment of the hypercar market, currently occupied by the likes of Koenigsegg and Pagani. These renderings imagine a Bugatti even more extreme than the Divo.

Dubbed the Bugatti Type 100, the vehicle is the work of Hao Hu and takes design inspiration from the Chiron. However, rather than simply taking a Chiron and adding new aero parts, Hao has created a bespoke body for the vehicle that incorporates some of the most important Bugatti design traits.

The front of the vehicle is pretty wild and includes a small Bugatti horseshoe grille, a pair of thin LED headlights, a carbon fiber splitter, and an array of huge air intakes. The roof and windows are also very low, helping to create a vehicle even more streamlined than the Chiron.

As head-turning as the front is, it is perhaps the rear that’s even more impressive. Instead of a window, there’s a big piece of carbon fiber that includes a wide roof scoop and a small sharkfin to help with aerodynamics. Much of the rear is also exposed, allowing for air to exit out of the fascia after it’s passed under and through the body of the car.

Reports claim that Bugatti is working a series of new Chiron-based vehicles in the vein of the Divo – and we can’t wait to see them.
