Youth asks four men to move car from middle of road, is shot
TNN | Dec 15, 2018, 07:52 ISTGreater Noida: A 24-year-old man from Rabupura was shot dead by four men after he asked them not to park their car in the middle of a road. Two minor boys suffered injuries when bullets grazed them.
The deceased was identified as Jagmohan, a resident of Karauli village in Greater Noida’s Rabupura. He worked as a lab technician at a blood bank in Jewar. He was walking along with Prempal (16) and Ashok (14) when he ran into a heated argument with Palwal residents Bheem Singh and Kailash over the way they had parked their car. Bheem and Kailash had come as guests at a wedding in the village. “My brother had only asked them not to keep their vehicles in the middle of the road. This started an argument. One of them fished out a pistol from his pocket and opened fire at Jagmohan and the others. One of the bullets pierced through Jagmohan’s head and some bullets grazed Prempal and Ashok,” said Rajkumar, the deceased’s brother.
The injured were rushed to Kailash Hospital in Jewar, where Jagmohan was declared dead on arrival while the two others were discharged after first-aid. “We came to know about the firing around 8.30pm. A police team was immediately sent to the spot, but the accused had fled by then,” said Sunil Singh, the station house officer of Rabupura police station.
Singh said that based on a complaint by Jagmohan’s family, a case has been registered against Bheem Singh, Kailash and two other unidentified men under sections 302, 307 and 504 for murder, attempting to murder and intentional insult to provoke breach of peace. “The body has been sent for an autopsy, the accused are currently on the run,” Singh added.
