Sylvan Nursery helps Westport Land Conservation with a day of service at park

WESTPORT -  Westport Land Conservation Trust’s (WLCT) effort to create a community park on Adamsville Road received a big boost from Sylvan Nursery. The nursery sponsored and advertised a day of service with the Land Trust for Massachusetts Certified Horticulturists in need of training hours. More than 20 state certified horticulturists showed up bright and early to clear trails, burn brush, prune trees and transplant plant material--providing over 65 service hours to the park project.
