Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, At the National School Games (SGFI) Wrestling Tournament, held in Sonipat of Haryana from 5th to 9th December 2018, MP academy’s wrestlers win 1 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze medals to raise the prestige of the state. These athletes participated under the guidance of Chief Coaches Ms. Rekha Rani and Mr. Vinay Prajapati.
As a result, the athletes have qualified for the Khelo India games. The achievers had a formal meeting with Dr. S.L. Thaosen, the Director of Sports and Youth Welfare, MP, in which he congratulated them for their remarkable performance and motivated them to win more medals in future.
Raman Yadav wins bronze
Madhya Pradesh Martial Art Academy wrestler Raman Yadav secured a bronze medal at the Senior National Wrestling Championship held at Gonda in Uttar Pradesh a couple of months ago.
This is for the first time that an MP academy’s athlete has won a medal at senior national championships. Appreciating his performance, Dr. S.L. Thaosen, the Director of Sports and Youth Welfare congratulated Raman. Chief Coaches Ms. Rekha Rani and Mr. Vinay Prajapati were also present on the occasion.
