Ahmedabad: Young woman alleges molestation in public

Representative imageAHMEDABAD: A 19-year-old woman, resident of Amraiwadi lodged a complaint of molestation on Thursday against one Sanjay Solanki and his friend Karan Solanki- both residents of Kailashdham Society of Amraiwadi.
The woman has alleged that Sanjay caught her by hand and pulled her towards him in full public view near Arbudanagar.
Police sources said the young woman has alleged that the accused had a fight with her brother about four days ago and that her mother had submitted an application against the duo at Amraiwadi police station.
According to the FIR, the woman had gone to her former employer to collect her pending salary.
"While on her way back, the two molested her. She was rescued by her relatives, who live nearby and some locals, who rushed to help her. We are probing the details mentioned in the FIR," said a senior police official of Amraiwadi police station.
