The historic, 1930-built mansion underwent extensive renovation over thirteen endless years. The hotel will be known as Azerai La Residence, Hue.
The hotel features 122 rooms combining simplicity and elegance in the space of affordable luxury. The hotel has 200 m of frontage running along the scenic Perfume River. It provides views of the imposing Flagtower Bastion and the 1804-built Citadel on the river’s north bank.
The 1930’s colonial mansion shares space with two complementary wings built in 2005.
The hotel’s exterior and long horizontal lines highlight its art deco roots and long-lasting appeal. It is close to Hue Railway Station and several colonial era buildings.
More properties are expected to be added in Vietnam. Azerai Can Tho, was the first hotel that debuted on the Mekong Delta in Spring of 2018.
The name Azerai was inspired by the initials of Adrian Zecha and the Persian word caravanserai which means a resting place usually around a central courtyard.
