R Madhavan is all set to play a scientist in upcoming film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. He shared his first look from the film as scientist Nambi Narayan on Thursday.
Sharing the picture on Instagram he wrote, "@NambiNa69586681 So very tough to get to where you are sir, even merely look look-wise .. But doing my very very best." (sic)
For his character, Madhavan has got his hair restyled in the shades of grey. He is also sporting a beard. He had posted a video from his project as he preps for his role some days ago.
The teaser of the film was released on October 31 and was well appreciated by the audience and critics alike.
In the teaser, Madhavan narrates the plot of the film and can be heard saying, "Agar mein aapse yeh kahun ki yeh karnama hum bees saal pehele hee haasil kar sakte the…toh…”(If I say that we could have achieved this miracle 20 years ago). The teaser ends with a zoom out shot of the actor who enters the frame towards the end.
The film will release in Hindi, English and Tamil. Madhavan, who is co-directing the film with Anant Mahadevan, spoke about the teaser and the story that the film has to say in a video shared on social media. He said, “There are many personal stories in the world that you would have heard about and many many more you have no clue about. When you hear this man's story, see his achievements and he assures that the audience will never be able to stay silent.”
