If you've ever dreamed about becoming a model then you're in luck - well, sort of.

The Peacocks on Penllyn road in Caernarfon are looking for volunteers to get involved with their live mannequin event this weekend.

Volunteers will take it in turns to stand in the shop window modeling some of the brand's clothing - and they'll even get 20% off the outfit they choose to wear.

The idea came from store manager Emma Boulton who wanted to liven things up in the town.

The 31 year old said: "The live mannequin idea came from the store in Scotland who held the same type of event.

"I thought it would be good to do it here because there's nothing much going on in Caernarfon at the moment.

"We're still looking for more volunteers.

"People have already showed a lot of interest and we've already had some volunteers come forward.

"At the moment it's mostly kids and their families who want to get involved but of course the staff will be doing it too.

"Basically they just have to model the clothes in the window - they can stand still, move around or strike a pose!

"Volunteers will receive 20% off the outfit they have chosen to model.

"We will have balloons and sweets for the kids plus will be making some mince pies for the customers."

The event will take place between 12pm and 2pm on Saturday December 15.
