2018 may seem like a bleak year. But the trends on the Internet reveal that people actually looked for more good than in 2018 than ever before.
In fact, in India, on Instagram, there's been a huge wave of positivity. Kindness and love took center stage as people from across the country took to Instagram to share the things they #love. So much so that #love became the most popular hashtag, followed by #Instagood.
Some of the top posts in #India that had #Love in it were - celebrity couple, and fanpages posting pictures of the couple with the hashtag #love.
People seem to have found love in other people's happiness, and reacted to it with 'Heart eyes'-- which became the most used reaction.
And while India's top three hashtags were - #love, #instagood and #fashion, the most used GIF sticker (which was also a new feature introduced this year) was 'Heart love.'
It is very reassuring to look back at this year and see how much #love and #kindness went through India, not only in getting through times of adversities but also to spread positivity all around.
To sum it up, India's year on Instagram has been #Instagood.
