Shelby Hibbert scored 11 points, the final two on clutch free throws with 10 seconds to play in overtime, and Bishop Connolly edged Bristol County Agricultural 35-32 in Mayflower Athletic Conference girls' basketball on Wednesday in Dighton.

Abby Sousa added seven points for the Cougars (1-1) while Katrina Rapoza and Briana Monahan provided strong rebounding, defense and shot blocking.

Briana Yost made two steals in overtime while Caitlin Mateus came off the bench to nail a big jumper in OT.
