Teacher arrested under Pocso charges

Karkala Rural police arrested Prasad, 28, a resident of Belthangady, under the Pocso Act. The girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by the teacher in a classroom during daytime. The video clip of the alleged incident is in circulation on social media for the past two days. The school principal on Thursday filed a complaint at Karkala Rural police station, following which the accused was arrested.
