
Chandrashekar Rao takes oath as Telangana CM for second term
New Delhi: Chandrashekar Rao took oath as the Chief Minister of Telangana for a consecutive second term at the Raj Bhavan, on Thursday.
Rao, or KCR as he is popularly known, took the oath exactly at 1:25 pm, which was marked as an auspicious moment by the TRS leader’s astrologers.

The oath ceremony was administered by Governor ESL Narasimhan.
On Wednesday, Rao was unanimously elected leader of the TRS Legislature Party by the newly-elected MLAs.
The TRS retained power by winning 88 seats in the 119-member Assembly.
