Hotfoil-EHS Introduces 6-Way Power Console with ICE STAR ISQ Controls

HAMILTON, N.J., Dec. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Hotfoil-EHS, Inc., North America's premier manufacturer of industrial heating equipment, announced the introduction of their 6-Way Power Console Series with ICE STAR ISQ control systems.
International heat treatment codes and standards require welders to conform to heating parameters for the target work piece, including heat-up time, temperature uniformity, soak time, and cool-down time. The pieces of equipment used for this purpose are known as power consoles. Hotfoil-EHS is a world-leading manufacturer of heat treatment power consoles.
Hotfoil-EHS announced they will include the ICE STAR ISQ controller with their 6-Way Power Console models. The ISQ controller is a 6 or 12 zone control system designed and manufactured by Finnish company, Ice Star Oy, specifically for the heat treatment marketplace. The ISQ is considered to be the most advanced metal heat treatment control system available today.
According to Hotfoil-EHS President Matt Richards, "Hotfoil-EHS is known for outstanding quality of Power Consoles. In the past, we've used a variety of industrial control manufacturers for our control systems. While they all produce great discrete controllers, they are generic in nature and not designed for heat treatment."
