Jammu and Kashmir: 2 militants killed in Sopore, security forces launch search operation

Two terrorists were neutralised in the encounter that started between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district on December 12. The encounter was held at Baratkalan-Gund Mohalla in Sopore. After the Sopore encounter got over, a joint team of the Army's 22 RR, SOG and CRPF launched a 'cordon and search' operation in the area. Internet connections have been suspended as a safety measure by the security forces. Firing has now been stopped. Search operations are underway.
