Police hunt man who may be armed, after car chase in remote WA

Police are looking for a man who may be armed with a gun following a car chase along the Brand Highway.

The car chase began just after 12pm on Brand Highway about 30 kilometres north of Eneabba.

Police say they tried to stop a black four-wheel drive but the driver sped off.

Soon after, the car turned onto Correy Road in Arrowsmith, lost control and rolled.

A man got out and ran from the vehicle. He was last seen heading north-west.

He is described as fair-skinned and thin, wearing a black tank top, green shorts and shoes.

Police believe he may be in possession of firearms.

Members of the public should not to approach him and should report any sightings to police immediately on 131 444.
