Tuesday's The Daily Telegraph claimed that the 37-year-old will be removed from the helm of the weekend breakfast staple.
The report quotes an alleged industry source who claims: 'Nine has dropped Peter Stefanovic from hosting Weekend Today and he's going back to the newsroom.

However, a Channel Nine spokesperson has denied the report to Daily Mail Australia, insisting Peter's axing is 'not true.'
