3 killed in factory blast near Wadhwan
tnn | Dec 11, 2018, 04:00 ISTRajkot: Three labourers were killed following a blast in the iron furnace due to gas leakage at a factory in Sarigam village on Bavla-Bagodara Highway in Wadhwan taluka of Surendranagar district on Monday.
The deceased were identified as Siyaram Yadav (40) and Mahendra Kumar (18), both natives of Uttar Pradesh, and Savkad Shah (35), a native of Bihar.
“The blast was caused by the gas leakage. Such was the impact of the blast that a big crater was created at its site. We are probing if there was a foul play,” said an official from Bavla police station.
