His arrest came as part of a police investigation into the possible sale and supply of methamphetamine.

Mr Golding is a 'facilitator' with the Ice Breakers drug rehabilitation group based in the PCYC at Albany.

On its website the program is described as a 'successful 12 week non-residential program, that focuses on rehabilitating and supporting current and recovering crystal methamphetamine addicts'.

The program was formally recognised by the Western Australian Labor Party prior to the 2017 state election with a $360,000 donation.

Psychologist Margaret Gordon launched the program in 2015 and employs trainers who themselves have overcome their own addictions, giving them crucial insight into helping others achieve the same goal.

'The program focuses on education and cognitive behavioural therapy, by offering sessions and support to a range of individuals at different stages of addiction,' the mission statement reads.

Mr Golding is set to appear in Albany Magistrates Court on December 20.
