College of Engineering, Pune (COEP), one of the premier engineering colleges of India, is all set to host Impressions’18 — the cultural festival of  COEP. Impressions is an idea to provide artists with a platform so diverse, that their creativity has a thousand ways to portray itself. It has experienced a tremendous growth from a footfall of 4,000 in the first edition to a footfall of over 10,000 in the second edition, and now with the third edition kicking in the city, a crowd turnover of 15,000 is anticipated.

Impressions’17 was successfully organised by COEP with Oneplus as the title sponsors. It comprised various events from the segments of the cultural arena, namely Dramatics, Dance, Music, Arts and Crafts and Film-Media, all under one roof, alongside various fun-filled events.

Well-known faces like Sachin Khedekar, Rahul Deshpande, Jitendra Joshi, Swanandi Tikekar and Ruhi Singh (Miss Universal Peace and Humanity 2014), to name a few, were present at the event. Last year, there also was a concert by the singing sensation, Arjun Kanungo, in association with Seasons Mall, Pune.
The students at COEP believe in using this platform to do their part for society. Keeping that in mind they also arranged a blood donation camp in Impression’16 and wish to continue the good work in this edition as well.

Under the social initiative, Prayaas, activities like blood donation camp, teach for India and environmental protection will be held.
