Two in three Indian businesses not fully digitised: Study

While almost all Indian businesses have started their journey, only a third have reached maturity, said a study on Monday.

One of the major factors holding back and restricting Cloud adoption in the country is complexity and confusion about the IT environment, according to the "State of IT Complexity in India" report by

"The study found a strong correlation between the increasing levels of complexity felt within organisations, and the delay of maturity," Makarand Joshi, Area Vice President and Country Head, Subcontinent, Citrix, said in a statement.

"The future has never looked more complex. IT leaders are being asked not only to deliver IT services, but also to improve business outcomes," Joshi added.

The findings showed that nearly 40 per cent of Indian businesses believe their IT environments are more or significantly more complex than two years ago.
