Jawharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (Jipmer) has been ranked number one in ‘Mera Aspataal’ ranking done by the Union Ministry of Health.

Patients can submit the feedback in seven different languages on mobile app and web portal for the hospitals visited in the last seven days.
They can also check the already-submitted feedbacks. The collected feedback will be compiled, analysed and visualised in the form of a dashboard accessible to the different stakeholders at facility, district, state and national level.
‘Mera Aspataal’ will help the government to take appropriate decisions for enhancing the quality of healthcare delivery across public facilities which will improve the patient’s experience. The patient will be able to receive an effective and appropriate care.
Jipmer Director Prof Dr R P Swaminathan said, recently a workshop on ‘Mera Aspataal’ was organised by Union Ministry of Health here which was attended by Registrar (Academic) & Head of IT Wing, Prof Dr Ravi Kumar Chittoria and his IT team to get sensitization on it.
During the workshop it was declared by Ministry’s officials that Jipmer among all Central Government medical Institutions has been ranked number 1 in the country. Various parameters judged by Ministry in feedback taken from patients includes doctor behaviour, treatment satisfaction, nursing care, laboratory services, overall care etc received by patients during their visit and hospitalisation in Jipmer.
According to a Jipmer release on Saturday, ‘Mera Aspataal’ is a central Ministry of Health initiative launched in 2016 to capture patient feedback for the services received at the hospital through user-friendly multiple channels such as Short Message Service (SMS), Outbound Dialling (OBD), mobile application and web portal.
