Hotel receptionist shot dead by unidentified miscreants in Lucknow

(Representative image)LUCKNOW: In a daring incident, two unidentified miscreants shot dead a hotel receptionist inside a hotel of Vibhutikhand in Lucknow in the wee hours of Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Krishnakant (22) a native of Pratapgarh. The police is yet to ascertain the possible motive of the murder.
According to the police, around 2.30am, two miscreants entered the hotel and approached him and after a spat shot at Krishnakant. Hearing the defeaning noise of gunshot other workers ran towards it and saw Krishnakant lying in a pool of blood. In the meantime the miscreants escape.
The workers inform police and also admit Kant to RML hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
SSP Lucknow Kalanidhi Naithani said that efforts are on to tarce the miscreants.
