At least 11 people were killed and 19 others injured on Saturday when a passenger bus skidded off a road and plunged into a deep gorge in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said. The accident occurred at Plera when the driver of the bus, coming from Loran to Poonch, lost control over the vehicle while negotiating a curve and rolled down into a 100-meter gorge, a police official said.

The Golden State Warriors earned a measure of revenge against the host Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night, reversing an earlier blowout loss with a 105-95 victory.
On a night when Kevin Durant was held to 11 points on 3-for-14 shooting, the Warriors turned to their depth to complete a 3-2 trip with a third straight win.
Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson shared game-high scoring honors for Golden State with 20 points apiece, each hitting four 3-pointers.

Paris was in lockdown early on Saturday with thousands of French security forces braced to meet renewed rioting by “yellow vest” protesters in the capitaland other cities in a fourth weekend of confrontation over living costs.
The Eiffel Tower and other tourist landmarks were shut, shops were boarded up to avoid looting and street furniture removed to avoid metal bars from being used as projectiles.

Huawei Technologies Co Ltd’s Chief Financial Officer faces U.S. accusations that she covered up her company's links to a firm that tried to sell equipment to Iran despite sanctions, a Canadian prosecutor said on Friday, arguing against giving her bail while she awaits extradition. After nearly six hours of arguments and counter-arguments, no decision was reached and the hearing was adjourned until Monday 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time (1800 GMT).

Mario Mandzukic often scores important goals and he did so again as he helped Juventus to a 1-0 win over title rival Inter Milan in the Derby d’Italia on Friday.
The imposing Croatia striker headed home in the 66th minute after Inter had missed a couple of golden opportunities as Juventus continued its seemingly unstoppable march to an eighth successive Serie A title. Juventus has an 11-point lead over second-placed Napoli.
